Whether you use an Android smartphone or an iOS Apple device, saving Instagram content works slightly differently due to security permissions. Here's how to get the best experience on both systems:
Android Instructions
On Android, you can use any browser like Chrome or Samsung Internet. Once you click download, the MP4 video is stored directly in your Downloads folder and instantly appears in your Google Photos or Gallery app.
iPhone (iOS) Instructions
Apple Safari has a built-in download manager. When you click download, look for the blue download arrow in the address bar. Once the download completes, tap the arrow, select the video, click the share sheet button, and select Save Video to move it into your Photos camera roll.
