Common Issues When Saving Reels
Are you trying to paste a link into the downloader and getting an error message? Don't worry, this happens for a few common reasons. Here is how you can identify and resolve the problem:
1. The Instagram Post is Private
If the Reel was uploaded by a private account, third-party downloaders cannot access the media. The content must be publicly visible for our proxy to fetch the file.
2. The Link is Copied Incorrectly
Ensure you copied the sharing link and not the profile link or browser address search link. A correct link should look like: https://www.instagram.com/reel/Code/.
3. Instagram Changed Their API Structure
Instagram frequently updates its app to block external tools. When this happens, our engineering team works quickly to update the scraping script. Try refreshing the page or waiting a few minutes for the update to roll out.
